Stressed

This is unrelated to technology in the classroom... but I have to ask it. Is anyone else stressed after going to that resume/interview seminar? I didn't know getting a job could be so complicated! :)

I feel the same way. It's exciting to think about graduating and getting interviews, but it is stressful and terrifying to prepare for all of this stuff!

I think that this time of year is just generally stressful. We are not used to getting readings and papers done after being out of the university for 10 months and now we have to add more things on top of that. Not to mention we have to really sit down and prioritize, ask ourselves what really matters, marks, or a job? Hmmm... I really agree with you though, it is stressful. I am nervous and tense, but at the same time I feel kind of prepared. We are the lucky ones, I have been talking to other ed students who have not even heard about those seminars, didn't know about the job expo, and all that. Imagine how stressed they are. Just sit down and get it done, and then go watch a movie and eat popcorn! :P

I feel your pain! I have been stressed out ever since I went to that resume thing. How do they expect us to know how to do all of this stuff? We also have to try and make it better then everyone else because we are competing against thousands of other teachers. I have not been able to sleep ever since that workshop. It was really good, but really frustrating at the same time. Why doesn't any other faculty have to jump 500 hundred hoops just to get a job? GRRRRRRR....

Oh boy am I ever stressed out too! Once I get through to Monday I will feel a million miles better. Well then I can actually get involved in my assignments. It's never going to end !
